The work consisted of constructing a new media center, a new primary and intermediate classroom building, a new exceptional education suite, a new media center, a skills lab, student guidance suites, and a new art and music suite building. It also included safety to life alteration, a new covered walkway, and connection of new and existing facilities. Work also included renovating the existing administrative offices, renovating the cafeteria, water pressure cleaning of existing school, repainting both the interior and exterior of buildings, upgrading existing restrooms, upgrading school to be handicapped accessible including the addition of a wheel chair lift, and replacing all exterior doors. Upgrading the electrical and lighting systems, the master clock system, the fire protection alarm system, and the security alarm system. The following site work was also included: new landscaping, new parking area, construction of a new chiller and pump building, new water main line and fire hydrants, and providing a new main sewer line and lift station.
